DONOR SERVICES OFFICE CELEBRATES $7.37 BILLION CAMPAIGN
UC Berkeley’s “Light the Way” campaign enjoyed more than 225,000 donors coming through to donate to the nation’s top public university for research and teaching opportunities. From the Donor Services office’s summary of the campaign:
Thanks to your generosity to Berkeley, we are Brilliant Together.
Together, we achieved monumental success with Light the Way: The Campaign for Berkeley, a historic effort to secure and expand our place as the world’s top public university. We extended our excellence in research and teaching while enhancing students’ experiences and opportunities. The final total was $7.37 billion, surpassing our audacious goal of $6 billion, with more than 225,000 donors coming together to make it happen. We are so grateful to you for being a part of the most successful campaign of its kind for any public university.
